Fireheart - Devlog #3


Hello everyone!

Just like in every Devblog, I would like to thank everyone who supports Fireheart

So what did I do?

I changed a lot of code (Blueprints) or it is better to say that I upgraded it a bit.
For example for prototyping purposes I still used an older method, where I would duplicate and change the weapon UI for every weapon.
Yes, for every weapon. This certainly would not be good if I wanted to have a lot of different weapons in the game right? 
I would have so many widgets I would lose count of all of them.
So I used pretty good method where I would only need to use ONE widget for every weapon in the game.
For some it is nothing much but the revelation I had. Wow.
It is not much but it is honest work, right?

This is just one thing out of the many to be honest and I made some good progress and changes.
This will definitely ease the work on the project.

I implemented treasure chests!



Treasure chests will be placed everywhere on the map with all kinds of loot and weapons in them.
I wanted to keep it simple when opening a chest and not make it flashy like lootboxes because I feel like it is not necessary. 
I love finding and opening chests when I play an RPG so I thought it would make a fine addition to my collection of features.
